Project Manager (Contract Manager)

The anticipated start date for this position is July 2026, with an assignment duration of (1040 hours) (approximately (6) months). Please only respond with candidates that meet or exceed the requirements and are available to start on the anticipated start date.

Please only respond with individuals that are willing to work onsite as required. A work from home schedule will be established with the hiring manager once onboarding and equipment issuing is completed. This individual may work remotely up to two (2) days per week, equivalent to approximately 40% remote and 60% onsite. Fully remote or out-of-state employment is not authorized at this time.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Interface with various levels of personnel and management and throughout the County, as well as with external vendors and contractors.
• Prepare solicitations (RFB, RFP, RFQ) and administer the contracts until performance is completed.
• Prepare Requests for Information (RFIs) and support the management of related documentation, vendor demonstrations, and Q&A activities.
• Perform all steps of the procurement process such as kick-off and pre-proposal meetings, review of documents, tracking approvals, facilitating legal and purchasing review and moving contract documents and amendments through the collaboration and approval process within OIT.
• Monitor all financial aspects of assigned contracts (e.g. monitoring funding, burn rate, and expenditures).
• Support day-to-day procurement operations within OIT, including supplier performance monitoring, contract expiration monitoring / renewals, contract scope monitoring / change development / dispute coordination.
• Ensures all relevant documentation accompany contracts, and maintaining digital and hard copies of relevant documentation.
• Sharing and providing clarity of contract processes, conditions and details with employees.
• Maintains schedules/calendars for the Contract Office in preparation, organization, setting agenda, taking notes and minutes, developing action items, and general follow up of meetings.
• Communications to all levels of the organization
• Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications/Skill Sets
 2 Years of contract management experience
 2 Years of experience in Information Technology administrative support.
 4 years of experience with Microsoft Office Software.
 Fundamental knowledge of Infrastructure concepts.
 Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
 Exceptional organization and coordination skills
 Exceptional oral and written communications skills
 Ability to work as part of a team, independently, and multi-task.

Preferred Qualifications/Skill Sets
 Knowledge of IT purchasing for government entities. (Federal, State or Local)
 Experience in managing high profile programs for enterprise solutions
